Prof. Yu serves as the director of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology. He specializes in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and integrated treatment of refractory rheumatic and immune diseases using Traditional Chinese and Western medicine, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), and gout. He pioneered hormonefree treatment regimens for SLE, significantly improving patient prognosis. He has also achieved remarkable results in managing refractory rheumatic pain, multiorgan damage in autoimmune diseases, and longterm disease control of rheumatoid arthritis.
