Care Value
-
Improve Diagnostic Accuracy and Treatment Effectiveness
Fewer Side EffectsAvoid Misdiagnosis and Missed Diagnosis: Integrating perspectives from imaging, pathology, and clinical departments significantly reduces blind spots from a single viewpoint, improving the diagnosis rate of complex conditions.
Develop Optimal Treatment Plans: Through multidisciplinary "war-gaming," experts comprehensively evaluate surgical, pharmacological, and radiotherapeutic approaches, avoiding the limitations of single-department treatment, thereby improving patient survival rates and quality of life.
-
Optimize Patient Experience and Treatment Efficiency
Fewer Side Effects"Multi-to-One" Service Model: Patients do not need to repeatedly visit different departments for appointments. Instead, they face a single expert team, significantly reducing the time cost and psychological burden of seeking medical care.
Shorten Waiting Periods: Through in-hospital collaboration, the process from diagnosis to treatment plan formulation is accelerated, allowing critically ill patients to receive standardized treatment more quickly.
-
Enhance Medical Safety and Risk Management
Better Quality of LifeComprehensive Risk Assessment: Especially for complex patients with multiple underlying conditions, MDT can proactively identify surgical or medication risks (e.g., anesthesia risks, drug interactions), formulate contingency plans, and ensure treatment safety.
*MDT is not a simple combination of multiple departments, but a patient-centered professional collaboration. From diagnosis to rehabilitation, the entire team makes unified decisions and provides coherent management for you, making complex diseases less complicated.
Service Process
-
Phase 1: Precise Screening and Application Initiation
When a clinical department encounters a difficult case with unclear diagnosis, complex condition, or multi-system involvement, the attending physician initiates an MDT application. The treating physician must complete an application form, clearly listing the current diagnostic and treatment challenges and the core issues requiring multidisciplinary team input. The process formally begins after review and approval by the department head.
01 -
Phase 2: Data Integration and Expert Assembly
Before the meeting, the treating team must structurally organize the patient's complete medical records, key imaging (CT/MRI, etc.), pathology reports, and genetic test results, sharing them with participating experts in advance for preliminary review. Simultaneously, the MDT coordinator, based on the case characteristics, precisely matches and convenes authoritative experts from relevant fields such as surgery, internal medicine, radiology, and pathology to determine the consultation time.
02 -
Phase 3: In-depth Discussion and Consensus Building
During the meeting, the attending physician first presents the case. Radiologists and pathologists interpret the latest test results on-site to clarify the nature of the disease. Subsequently, experts from various disciplines engage in thorough debate from their professional perspectives, comprehensively considering international guidelines and the patient's physical condition. A consensus is reached, and a "MDT Comprehensive Diagnosis and Treatment Opinion" is issued, including a clear diagnosis, comprehensive treatment strategy, and division of responsibilities among disciplines.
03 -
Phase 4: Plan Communication and Execution Tracking
The attending physician is responsible for explaining the personalized plan developed by the MDT team to the patient and their family in an understandable manner. Treatment officially commences after obtaining informed consent. All relevant departments strictly collaborate according to the established division of responsibilities, closely monitoring treatment efficacy and outcomes throughout the process. If a significant change in the patient's condition occurs, the team will promptly initiate a re-evaluation and dynamically adjust the subsequent pathway, achieving full-cycle quality closed-loop management.
