Dr. Guo Xiaoze is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction. He serves as a member of the Digital Medicine Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, a Youth Committee member of the Trauma Branch of the same association, and a member of the Foot and Ankle Trauma Group within the Orthopaedics Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association. Dr. Guo has performed exceeding 4,000 surgical procedures, with extensive experience in the management of musculoskeletal trauma, bone infection, and soft tissue injuries. His clinical focus lies in the comprehensive treatment of complex foot and ankle disorders, particularly those arising from traumatic etiologies. His areas of expertise include the operative and non-operative management of ankle fractures—particularly lateral malleolar fractures—as well as adult-acquired and congenital deformities such as pes planus (flatfoot), pes cavus, and equinovarus deformity. He is also highly skilled in the correction of post-traumatic foot and ankle deformities, management of ankle arthritis with associated malalignment, and treatment of ligamentous injuries of the ankle. Additionally, Dr. Guo has significant experience in the surgical repair and reconstruction of Achilles tendon injuries, including both acute ruptures and chronic (neglected) Achilles tendon tears.
